A delightful mix of colors. The standards are soft lilac with a blended 1/4” edge of buff pink and flush at the midribs. The falls are light burgundy, lightning at the beards and set off with a well-defined 1/4” edge of muted gold. Beards are soft old gold. Flowers are ruffled and wide and there are plenty of buds with some show stems. Just a slight perfume.

This girl has gone completely and totally wild. Standards transition from peach bases to light gold margins. Cream fall centers are overlaid with red lines becoming a red wash over light gold base. On the shorter side, GIRL LIKE YOU is a very ruffled and lightly laced rich salmon to orange self with a small white flash below fully saturated red orange beards. Nicely branched show stems are produced in profusion making quite a lovely garden show near the end of the season. Very rich and pretty!!

Pronounced sweet fragrance. Combinations of the plicata pattern with other patterns have created a seemingly never ending universe of new and unique patterns and colors. One of those is a butterfly type design where a luminata patch would be. There will be many variations of these to come. This one has mid pink standards with subtle darker rose lines and outer edge. Velvety dark purple-black falls have white darted chevon haft patches overlaid with near black lines sandwiched between purple sanded veins in a modified butterfly pattern. Coral beards enhance its uniqueness. Clumps are gloriously filled with an abundance of stalks having 3 branches and 8-9 buds.

Slight sweet fragrance. Many early blooming plicatas were a disaster in colder climates because of their related early growth. ‘Goat Rodeo’ is another from my lines to produce later blooming, cold hardy and vigorous plicatas. Dark wine standards show a small central patch of white ground. Pale yellow ground falls are widely banded dark brownish wine with hafts more heavily sanded dark brown. Marigold beards are just the right pop of accent color. Strong growth produces stalks with 3 branches and 8-10 buds.

Sweet fragrance. Standards are marine blue violet with a white band. Falls are a deep rich blue violet with a white edge and striping on the sides. There is a large white luminata patch around the beard and a short white dart below the beard. The hafts are touched orange which helps to draw the eye into the flower. Heavily ruffled standards are brilliant sunshine yellow. Fall centers are light violet with wide, shaded center elipse of dark violet. Mid yellow gold haft’s color continues in pleated ruffles around falls. Beards are dark marigold. Expect about seven of these showy creations per stalk. Growth is strong, vigorous and clean. Makes a fantastic clump.

Sweet fragrance. Lavender pink standards are deeper lavender in the center. Falls are a rich deep lavender blue with a heavier blue wash in the center. Beards are a burnt orange. Nice classically formed ruffled and lightly laced flowers are borne in abundance on well branched stems. Definitely for the lover of rich bicolored and laced iris.

Falls are a medium maroon with yellow influences giving it the appearance of a sort of brown with a lighter edge. A color combination not often seen and a good iris for those who love brown. Cream ground almost completely overlaid with pink and a little bit of violet dotting. Falls are stark white with a violet plicata band. Beards tangerine with red tips. A very clean and pretty bicolor plicata. Nice wide form and strong growth with show stems. Nice!!

Stark white standards with a slight lavender wash in the center. Falls are a deep rich purple with white lines and a white rim. Gold style crests show through between the standards providing a nice contrast. Orange red beards add to the effect. Very showy and a garden visitor favorite. Strong growth and good stems add to the appeal.
