Sweet fragrance. Brilliant golden yellow standards are edged with a unique rust veined pattern. Rich and plush mahogany red falls have a yellow central sunburst pattern with red lines radiating throughout. Strong growth with nice show stalks carrying 8 or more buds. Quite a dramatic looking iris in the field.

Sweet fragrance. A bit of a hard color combination to describe. Standards are a muted lavender violet lightening towards the edge and becoming a gold band and then a very light lavender edge. Falls are mostly a deep plush red-violet but with a deeper blue blended central belly stripe. The blue coloration also peeks through closer to the fall edge. The edge of the petal has a border of light flesh pink. The blue tipped beards also add a lot to the pattern. Wonderful large and ruffled flowers with exquisite form that keeps you coming back for another look. 8 buds are borne on nicely branched stems. Proving to be an excellent parent. The color does lighten with age but gracefully and with class.

Sweet fragrance. Standards are an off white with medium violet veins and shades of lemon blending throughout the petal. The lemon is more concentrated in the center and the edge. Falls are a rich lavender violet deepening at the hafts and lightening at the petal edge. Put all this together with fantastic wide bubble ruffles and you have a very showy creation indeed. Sdlg. Sweet fragrance. Orange Standards are a bit lighter and with some gold influence at the edges. Falls are Yellow-orange with a white spot below the brilliant tangerine-red beard. Sweet fragrance. Standards are medium orange with pink blendings. Falls are Pink with a light rosy violet blend at petal edges. The light violet in the falls is more pronounced in cooler weather. Sweet fragrance. Flesh pink standards that are more pink in the centers and more peach on the edges. Falls are light lavender with and darker lavender center wash that extends from the red-orange beard to the petal edge. Hafts are touched peach. The fall is then banded with a warm flesh pink. Very ruffled with nicely branched stems and good bud count. A strong and gorgeous performer with an extended bloom period.

Once again proving the value of Slice Of Heaven as a parent. Deep pink standards and edge on white falls with beautiful coral pink beards with a frosted pink end. Wonderful form and branching on strong stems. Found A Love, like its sister, As You Wish, from last year, is a very prolific bloomer and strong grower. I can’t say enough good things about this iris. Let your nose delight in the freshness of a morning shower. Full formed and ruffled white blooms have standards widely banded with clean mid blue wash and darker stitching that is echoed in the mid blue styles. Falls have narrow light lilac rouged bands plic stitched darker. It declares the arrival of spring. Sturdy stalks have 4 branches plus a rebranch and spur creating 10-14 buds. There is a prominent spicy fragrance.

Musky fragrance. Over-the-top color and pattern are its hallmark. Is there room left for anything else? Thirty years ago such things were hardly imaginable. Veined and banded standards rise above falls with contrasting hafts, cascading centers, and a contrasting band. Wow! Add to that well-branched stalks with three branches and a spur with 10-12 buds. Slight fragrance. This iris has fascinated me since its maiden bloom. The pattern is different especially for a horned variety. Standards and styles are a medium coral pink. Flaring falls are like a zebra. Is it medium orchid violet with pink veins or deep pink with medium orchid violet veins? The falls also have a defined narrow band of pink-orchid. Sweet fragrance. Golden orange standards tower over deep old rose falls with a large central blue violet wash. Hafts are touched gold on either side of burnt orange beards.
