Standards mustard to lemon yellow. Falls are a rich medium mauve to violet with a lighter brownish fall edge. Hafts are touched yellow to brown on either side of russet beards. An iris that is a bit difficult to photograph. Super form and ruffles on well branched and budded show stalks. A favorite and tagged for introduction from its maiden bloom. Recommended!!

Lemon yellow standards over red violet falls with lavender band and slight yellow wire rim. Short white lines radiate out on either side of the yellow orange beard. With its super nice ruffled form, we have used Dressed to the Nine’s heavily in hybridizing and is an exceptional parent for form and banded patterns in lots of different colors. There will be many intros from it in the future. Nice stems with good buds complete this quality iris.

Sweet fragrance. This rich colored Iris makes a spectacular show in the garden. Standards and style arms are a rich burgundy. Falls are richer burgundy than the standards and there is an overlay of burgundy black veining over the complete fall. Good branching.

The hafts are touched more solid yellow and there is a more concentrated yellow-tan blend forming a band. The center of the fall is flushed violet. Sweet fragrance. Light gold standards are infused deeper gold and violet up the midrib. Falls are a wide and ruffled deep plush burgundy to near black. Nicely branched show stems with good buds make it a show bench contender. The double beard in the photo is an anomaly and does not happen as a regular occurrence. Sweet fragrance. White ground standards are heavily overlaid deep blue purple with a deep plum to near black band. Falls are white with an inner band of deep blue purple dots and a more solid outer band of deep plum. The beard is an unusual blend with the hairs being blue purple at the base then white and finally yellow at the tips creating quite a complex treat. Evening Stroll has finally broken the link between shorter stature and lower bud count in the deep purple-black plicata lines. Seven to nine buds on tall well branched stalks are the norm. Sdlg. Very light oyster pink standards with slight violet flush up the midrib. Falls are a rich, smooth and plush deep velvety purple black with narrow light lavender fall rim. Beards are a bronze color tipped violet. Wonderful strong growth with loads of buds on nice stems. Very floriferous and bold. This sweetly scented garden beauty makes a dramatic statement. Slight sweet fragrance. This cross is another that yielded many quality seedlings from which choices had to be made as to what goes and what stays. Big broad and heavily ruffled flowers are presented on strong show stalks. Standards have wide purple black plicata bands and only centers show their white ground. Styles are near black. Super wide falls are warm white shaded buff over hafts. Dark purple plicata bands encircle the falls and unusual waxy black chevrons surround rich dark black-brown beards. Strong show stalks have 3 branches and spur to show of 10-12 buds. A must have.
