One of the first TB iris to flower and a good splash of color to kick off the season. Cream Standards are flushed heavily with peach in the center that transition to faint peach veins extending to the petal edges. Falls are a rich cantaloupe blending to more peach at the edges. Heavy bloom makes a very startling and showy clump.

This lovely divinity frosted confection is perfection. Pinkish white standards are lined light pink with edges touched palest blue. Interiors are white with blush pink outer bands. White falls blend to pale pink with minimal gray violet plic marked hafts. Strong stalks have 4 branches and 13-14 buds.

Lightly fragrant. More coral than pink, this self reminds me of the coral jewelry you can obtain in Hawaii. The color always stops me in the garden because of its intensity. The coral-pink is a little creamy around the beards. Beards are coral, lightening to peach at the upturned tip. Flowers are ruffled with slightly crimped edges. Sweet fragrance. White ground standards are almost completely overlaid gold. The midrib is flushed violet. Falls are white with a deep velvet red band. There is medium red violet dotted band inside the darker band. Nicely ruffled flowers on a very bright and pleasing color combination. A nice classically ruffled form completes the look. Sdlg. Standards have a white ground almost completely overlaid with lavender plicata dotting and a very narrow purple wire edge. Falls are white heavily overlaid with deep purple black dotting at the hafts and forming a wide band. Nice burnt orange beards pop out of the center adding nice contrast. A very nice early variety that has wonderful stems and covers itself in bloom. Outstanding in clump!!

Pronounced sweet fragrance This exciting variety is a clandestine exploration of what takes place at night. Standards have dark violet blue elliptical centers blending to wide dark purple bands underlaid with black veins. Halfmoon white fall centers on black falls are veined overall purple black. Sweet fragrance. Cranberry red self with a blue blaze that becomes a wash below the tangerine beard. Really a nice rich and vibrant color that draws you in. Nice wide overlapping falls with light ruffles.

‘Crashing Whitecaps’ is a superior iris in all respects. You’ll be glad you have it in your garden when you see its clump filled with show stalks standing tall among robust clean foliage. Cool white standards and styles color is repeated across the hafts on mid violet blue falls. Mid orange beards vie for attention. Stalks have 3 branches plus spur and 9-11 buds. A sure show winner. Pronounced sweet fragrance If I could have only one of my plicatas to breed with, it would be this one. Its genetic diversity, including several instances of ‘Dolce’ plus SDBs, IBs, tet MTBs, BBs and TBs, has given rise to unique colors and patterns in addition to solid growth. White ground standards are washed pale mustard becoming darker toward edges then embellished with darker mustard fine veining overall and white edges. Yellow styles are held within strongly held standards. Expansive white ground falls are widely plicata banded dark olive gold with more olive random dotting and line down centers, over centers and haft. Unique olive gold beards complete this unusual creature. Three branches have 7-8 buds.

Curve Ball is all about the beard. Lemon yellow standards; falls are white ground w/ a lemon overlay transitioning to a wide dark violet band. Very large tang. beards extend longer than usual down the fall. 7 buds on good stalks. Form is a bit funky but add to the appeal.

Beige standards with violet flush up the midrib and slight gold blending at petal edges. Falls are a rich deep lavender becoming lighter at the edge. Burnt orange beards are tipped deep lavender. This is a very classy looking iris with gorgeous form and wide ruffles on show stems with ample buds. A very dependable and consistent showoff in clump. Nice!!
