‘Hold Me Now’ has amazing dark violet blue beards with just a brushing of chocolate over their tops. They are a colorful contrast to the mid pink standards and opaque pearl white falls that have darker pink hafts and lighter pink bands. Show stalks have ample buds to make a long bloom season. It is being used in hybridizing extensively for blue bearded pinks.

Sweet fragrance. Honor Roll is the fourth sister in this cross to be introduced and it has been used heavily in my hybridizing program. Palest cream standards are veined and infused light lemon and deep gold at the base. Falls are a very deep plush burgundy with a wide light lavender band that blends into a light yellow edge. Heavily ruffled parts of the petal backs show and add to the effect with multiple layers of color. Nice stems with good branching and bud count make it a winner. A very beautiful iris and a favorite for sure. Check out all the pictures of Honor Roll as the flower ages through the days the yellow pigments become more creamy white. Gorgeous either way, we love this iris and we think you will too.

Light fragrance. Not just another plicata! Standards are mostly solid rich maroon with slight undertones of apricot in the center. The lacey edges of the very dark apricot styles are trimmed in maroon. Flaring falls have apricot-peach ground bordered by a solid maroon edge that turns to dots as it extends from the burnt dark orange beards. 9 to 10 buds on well branched stalks. The pigment for a scarlet red bearded iris doesn’t exist. “Iris” red is a visual effect of an overlay of blue/purple and yellow. It is a deli- cate dance measured in subtle gradations and years of breeding. ‘Hottie’ makes one more tiny step in that direction. Some areas of the falls between the darker veins appear quite red, especially in “just the right sun”.

Sweet fragrance. Standards have golden yellow centers and icy blue-white edges. Falls are golden yellow with a white flash that extends from just below the beard and blends into a gold band near the petal edge. House Of Light is a very vigorous grower and is always one of the very first to start blooming. Strong show stems with ample buds make it an early season showstopper. A nice iris to kickstart the TB season.

Standards are salmon to orange with a nice lightly laced edge. Falls are a very light rose, deepening toward the edge and nearly white below the beard. Hafts are orange on either side of the tangerine beard. Another one in the rich warm tones that glows in the sunshine. Very beautiful!

Slight sweet fragrance. Lavender pink standards are flushed flesh pink in the center. Falls are a lighter lavender pink with a faint pink band. Big bushy blue beards with frosted white hair tips. Very nice classical form with good ruffles. Nicely branched stems with good bud count. One of the deepest blue beards we have achieved thus far on a pink iris. Now if we can just hold that beard color and turn the petals a flamingo pink!! There is always something to shoot for!!

I'M BACK sets a new standard for form and color in reblooming irises. Not only will you love seeing it the first time, you'll long for it to return, and it will. Standards are medium lilac with rich dusty rose centers and along upper margins which are covered with a fine network of burgundy veins. Styles are dusty rose with crests veined dark burgundy. Falls are velvety black-cherry with paler rims and adorned with dark root beer beards. Each flower is well-formed and elegantly ruffled.

It’s much more fun to be a little wild and crazy and a bit mixed up. This broken color type will liven up your garden. Pale buff pink standards are randomly splashed mid lilac. Mid peach style crests are streaked lilac. Mid buff peach falls are randomly streaked from dark purple to light red purple. Hafts can be mid pink to butter. Each flower is different. Strong growth provides stalks with 2-3 branches and 7-9 buds. If you check out the second photo the color is not quite right but it shows the form so much better.

It has been hard for me to capture the beauty of this one in a photo. Very light yellow standards are heavily flushed deep golden yellow at the base and in the center transitioning to veining at the edge. Falls are a rich reddish brown with a lemon yellow and white blended band. A clump of this blooming in the full sun is spectacular. An excellent garden iris that is well branched, budded and floriferous.

(74cm) pronounced sweet fragrance Flowers on variegated foliage TBs have been notoriously poorly formed. ‘Indecisive’ remedies that with a very modern flower that can compete with any TB on the market. The bonus is the wonderfully variegated foliage that is blue-green and creamy white that is more disease resistant and less likely for the white to burn in intense sun. Falls of white flowers have hafts rouged pale yellow and veined light red-brown to plum. Lower half is heavily sanded/mottled mid violet then banded white. White beards are overlaid light tangerine.
