The falls are then encircled with an orange band. We have worked on the lined pattern for some time and PARTY CITY has one of the widest fullest formed flowers we have produced to date. Sweet fragrance. Paloma Blanca is Spanish for white dove. Icy blue white standards and faint blended edge on white falls. Nice red orange beards are tipped blue white. Beautiful form with good lacing on the petal edges. Super clean grower with strong show stems carrying 8 buds. A very classy iris to close the season.

Showy clumps of ‘Paisley Print’ are a favorite of garden visitors. Snow white flowers have artistic outer banding of sanded mid purple veining giving way to more solid and darker purple bands then grayed white bands and finally purple wire rims. Vibrant orange beards set it afire. Three branches produce about 7 buds. Moderate spicy fragrance.

If you need a bold spalsh of color in your garden, ‘Painted Love’ is the iris for you. Mid gold standards are blushed red violet. Wide blue violet falls have Indian red bands and hafts and are paler around deep marigold beards. Nine buds on well branched stalks add to its appeal. Reminds us of an updated version of the old classic ‘Syncopation’.

Sweet fragrance. A dark purple self, or bicolor with ruffles or lace, and a yellow beard has been a project of mine. Own The Night is headed in that direction. Medium purple standards sit atop plush deep purple falls with a light narrow edge. Mustard tipped beards set it off. Very nicely ruffled and formed with strong stems and ten buds. Marked as an introduction since maiden bloom. Flashy!!

Sweet fragrance. Old gold standards have a heavy infusion of rose violet in the center. Falls are a rosy lavender with a deeper haft and fall edge. The hafts are also slightly touched gold on either side of the beard. Rather large flowers are lightly ruffled and laced. Show stems are the norm on this rich beauty. Cream Standards are flushed and washed pink and lavender. Falls have a peach to orange haft area and slightly lighter fall edge. Deep purple diffused lines radiate from below the beards to near petals edge. Even the beards are a strange blend of coral pink to lavender. A lovely color combination that is hard to describe.

Sweet fragrance. Deep gold standards with medium red veins thorough out. Falls have a gold base which is then overlaid with a deep maroon across the hafts. Below the maroon hafts is a rose violet wash that extends to the gold edge. The dark masked signal carries the pattern well and can be seen clear across the garden. Sdlg. It is quite a mysterious iris. Mid-dark slate purple standards have wide light gray tan blended bands. Their interior is a much brighter mid purple. Diamond dusted eggshell falls blend outward to pale butter and have silver gray texture veins. Strong stalks have 3 branches and 6-7 buds. A moderate sweet fragrance is a plus.

Light sweet fragrance. Pink Standards and hafts over medium lavender falls. Huge blocky flowers with excellent form are carried on show stems. Check out the differing shots of it on the website. The color can be quite different with lighting, different days or even different years. Generally, the more overcast and cooler that it is the darker the color. White ground standards overlaid with deep purple just allowing a bit of white to show in the center. Falls are white with a deep purple black band and deep purple black hafts around blue tipped rust beards. This is one long blooming iris. It starts the season and is still flowering when the late bloomers start. Very floriferous and a vigorous grower. Nicely formed wide and ruffled flowers. A quality iris!
