Very light grape standards with deep purple veins almost completely covering the petals. Petal edges are surrounded by a gilt gold narrow rim. Falls are deep purple with white rays extending out to the center of the petal then becoming solid purple with a stitched lavender rim. The backs of the falls are striped and veined all the way to the edge giving a very cool effect especially when in bud. Bright orange beards and feathered white style crests complete this wild ensemble. Good growth and stems carrying 8 buds. Coming from a cross of Blyth seedlings made in Australia. Truly striking!!

A favorite of ours from its maiden bloom. Eggshell white Standards with a nice wide gold band and the beginnings of violet veining. Falls are wide and ruffled deep violet with a white ray spray pattern around brilliant orange beards. Nicely ruffled flowers are held on good stems with ample buds. Very showy and a garden favorite.

We would love to have a nice blue and orange bicolor and this is certainly a strong step in that direction. Standards are blue with deeper blue centers and veins, then ending with light buff edges. Falls are salmon orange/pink with a bit lighter area below tangerine beards. Great Show stem branching with ample buds. Very showy and pretty! Unique!

Pink Standards; Falls have a light pink to white ground with a lavender stitched plicata band. Orange Beards are tipped white. We really like this plicata coming from non-traditional plicata breeding at least on the mother’s side. A strong grower and a fun color combination. Large flowers have nice wide and ruffled form. We have been hybridizing heavily with BEAUTICIAN.

‘Crashing Whitecaps’ is a superior iris in all respects. You’ll be glad you have it in your garden when you see its clump filled with show stalks standing tall among robust clean foliage. Cool white standards and styles color is repeated across the hafts on mid violet blue falls. Mid orange beards vie for attention. Stalks have 3 branches plus spur and 9-11 buds. A sure show winner. Yes, ‘Extreme’ ruffles and ‘Extreme’ color made this a top contender for introduction from its first bloom. Peach blooms are heavily washed dark orange giving a seductive depth of color. Huge dark orange beards grab your eye as you approach. Strong growth. Three buds on stalks with one branch.

A hard iris to describe but here goes. Burnt orange to salmon blended Standards are shot violet in the center. Falls have a cream and salmon ground overlaid with a deep black cherry plicata bar across the hafts and band around edge. Burnt orange to brown beards. Strong well branched stems carry up to 11 buds. A very showy garden favorite! We like!!
