Border bearded irises are no longer sulky shrinking violets. ‘Boundless Berry’ is testament to that with its robust growth and showy clumps filled with bloom stalks. Compact, heavily ruffled flowers have light warm pink blooms. Fall hafts are rouged red plum and veined cream and shade lighter to narrow warm pink bands. Big, dark sienna beards are an interesting contrast. Show stalks have 3 branches and 7-9 buds. A moderate sweet fragrance is a plus.

‘Crashing Whitecaps’ is a superior iris in all respects. You’ll be glad you have it in your garden when you see its clump filled with show stalks standing tall among robust clean foliage. A hard iris to describe but here goes. Burnt orange to salmon blended Standards are shot violet in the center. Falls have a cream and salmon ground overlaid with a deep black cherry plicata bar across the hafts and band around edge. Burnt orange to brown beards. Strong well branched stems carry up to 11 buds. A very showy garden favorite! We like!!

I'M BACK sets a new standard for form and color in reblooming irises. Not only will you love seeing it the first time, you'll long for it to return, and it will. Standards are medium lilac with rich dusty rose centers and along upper margins which are covered with a fine network of burgundy veins. Styles are dusty rose with crests veined dark burgundy. Falls are velvety black-cherry with paler rims and adorned with dark root beer beards. Each flower is well-formed and elegantly ruffled.

This exceptional iris is the result of compounding the genes of three extraordinary irises. Growth, vigor, stalks and buds are all top-notch as are its colorful flowers. Pale mauve pink standards centers blend to creamy tan and are etched with darker lines. Interior is pale lilac with darker center streak. Creamy tan styles have mid violet centers. Mid violet blue falls are paler around burnt orange beards and darker moving outward and narrowly banded light slate gray.

White ground standards overlaid with deep purple just allowing a bit of white to show in the center. Falls are white with a deep purple black band and deep purple black hafts around blue tipped rust beards. This is one long blooming iris. It starts the season and is still flowering when the late bloomers start. Very floriferous and a vigorous grower. Nicely formed wide and ruffled flowers. A quality iris!

He’s tall, dark and handsome and draws the eye of anyone walking by. Only the finest clothes will do for this Sharp Dressed Man. Standards are iridescent mid purple. Elegantly ruffled purple black falls have a velvety texture and slightly lighter rim. Only someone so confident could get by with such an outrageous orange tie. Show stalks with 3-4 branches and 10-12 buds help insure a superior garden performance. Robust, healthy growth. Colors are exceptionally clear.

The complex heritage of ‘Portland Pink’ made this advancement in MTBs possible. Its form is compact and lightly ruffled. The clarity of subtle gradations of pink is stunning. Light baby ribbon pink standards encase warmer pink styles. Light warm salmon pink falls are adorned with heavily saturated mid coral pink beards. Definitely a top pick for those who love pink irises. Two branches and terminal normally have 6-7 buds.

Sweet fragrance. Standards have medium rose pink centers and a flesh pink edge. Falls are a rich purple with a near black purple haft. Even the beard is dark being purple with burnt orange hair tips giving it a bit of a gothic look. I love pink and purple combinations although they are not that common. A very pretty iris. Sdlg. Sweet fragrance. Lavender blue standards with a yellowish green veined network in the center. Falls are an intensely deep velvety black purple with a white sunburst. A wide deep purple belly stripe runs from the beard to the purple band. This is one spectacular iris. Great form, buds, branching and growth, and show stalks always. Tenacity has been marked as an introduction since its maiden bloom. She is also proving to be a very good parent. Sdlg.
