Medium lavender standards are darker at the edge. Falls are a deep lavender purple with a very wide and ruffled medium lavender band. Yellow orange beards are tipped lavender. If you are into the dramatic this certainly fits the bill. Spectacular in clump with an abundance of large ruffled flowers on show stems. She has it all, grace, charm, looks, and poise - she's a SUPER MODEL. This SUPER MODEL excels where other heavily laced violet types have failed. When she finishes blooming there is still plenty of increase left. Many visitors to the AIS convention this past year remarked on that trait. Perfectly formed medium lilac flowers are edged in heavy crinkled lace. With all this lace, SUPER MODEL still opens easily. Strong show stalks normally open two well placed flowers at once. Be the first one on your block with your own SUPER MODEL. Hopefully this will be the key to unlock the overbloom problem in this color range.

Light lemon-yellow standards are washed and veined a darker lemon. Falls are a medium lavender blue with a dark maroon wash, deepening at the hafts. A lighter lavender fall band and center belly stripe that extends from below the beard to the petals edge completes the pattern. Super strong growth with large showy flowers on nice show stems. A longer season of bloom was also noted in the field this year.

Coming out of my lined pattern breeding, THUNDERING APPLAUSE pushes the pattern a step further. We are finally getting wide ruffled and even slightly laced form. Creamy white standards are infused peach pink. Falls have a light lemon base that is overlaid with violet lines radiating from the heart of the flower and becoming more of a wash near the edge. Then the whole pattern is framed by a nice lemon-yellow band. Tangerine beards help to compliment the pattern. Super strong growth on floriferous clumps.

Icy blue white standards. Falls have blue white centers then a light to med. Lavender violet wash ending in a ruffled clean ice white edge. Beautifully large full formed flowers are heavily ruffled and a bit pleated in the falls. Good show stems with up to 9 buds.

Standards are flesh pink with peach edges. Falls are flushed slightly lighter flesh pink with a wide blended peach band. Beards are kind of a strange mango peach. A very different and very pretty color combination.

A total new pattern in TBs is emerging. We have loved this one from its maiden bloom. Garden nickname had been “pansy face” because it reminds us of a pattern you would find on a Pansy flower. Standards are lemon yellow deeper at the base. Falls are white with a faint yellow halo band near edge of petals. What really sets this flower off is the dramatic rusy to red central signal that surrounds the orange beard. Not the easiest of parents but from what we have bloomed from it so far it is well worth the effort. Nice stem with up to 8 buds.

Named after our little dog, Tula is a beauty that was labeled for introduction since its maiden bloom. Standards are an off white with light violet plicata dots and lemon flush throughout. Falls are interesting with white ground overlaid almost completely with deeper violet plicata dots. Adding to the interest are deep violet veins that extend from around the beard to petal edge. All of this is highlighted by very shocking medium lemon style arms that are very visible, creating a strong contrast. Three buds, good growth and bloom habits make this a garden favorite and a fun parent.

Eggshell white standards with very slight turquoise veining at edges and on style crests. Falls are white ground overlaid with lilac to lavender with slightly darker and faint veining near petal edge. Nicely ruffled flowers create a very classy look.

‘Wild Streak’ is notable for its color saturation. Buff peach standards have rather large random irregular mid lilac segments. Pale peach falls with darker peach hafts and edges have dark to mid grape irregular splashes, streaks and solid segments. Strong, vigorous growth produces stalks with 3 branches and 7-8 buds.

What a beauty she is as she takes flight. Standards of heavily ruffled blooms are shaded light pink and are edged with ivory lace. Wide falls are light buff peach with darker veins and ivory laced edges. Burnt orange beards are an interesting contrast. Strong show stalks have 3 branches and 7-8 buds.

It is amazing to have three prime selections from the same cross. This luminata plicata has old gold standards washed darker brass overall and interesting green midribs. Mid gold styles lead to bold yellow luminata type fall spots that have light tan plicata markings becoming mid cinnamon toward edges. The lower half of fall is dark mahogany with a gilt gold rim. The big burnt orange beards will make you go ‘Wow Gee Whiz’. Great from a distance or up close. Strong growth.

Apricot to salmon pink standards with a rosy lavender flush up the midrib. Falls are a rich magenta rose that is very clean with a nice ruffled edge and red orange beards. Wrap Her Up is a very clean bicolor and we think much prettier than the photo depicts. With very pretty show stems, Wrap Her Up makes a very elegant show near the end of the season.

Your head spins round with the whirlwind of colors of this broken color type. White standards are randomly splashed light lilac and tan. Fall centers are white blended outward to mid yellow and narrowly edged white and then randomly streaked, splashed, veined and mottled varying shades of vibrant red plum. You won’t miss seeing these wildly colorful flowers. Three well-spaced branches produce 7-8 buds.

Slight sweet fragrance. Light yellow with faint violet dotted edge and darker yellow centers. Falls are white touched medium yellow at the hafts and a lighter yellow rim. There are also medium maroon freckle dotted hafts on either side of orange beards.

Light sweet fragrance. Medium orange standards blushed violet in the midrib. Falls have a creamy pink ground. There is a lighter area around and below the beard that becomes a band of purple dotting and then finally a gold edge. Brilliant tangerine beards top it off. Phew, what a wild and bright color combo!!

Sweet fragrance. Clear medium pink standards. Falls are cream with very light pink hafts and faint edge. Very showy and big medium blue beards really jump out.

Sweet fragrance. Brilliant gold standards with a few random burgundy spots near the edge. Falls are light yellow with a lighter cream area below the beard. There is a pattern of darker gold at the hafts and on the edge that is in turn overlaid with burgundy stripes and dots. Short burgundy lines randomly jut out below the neon tangerine beard. Neon colors!!
