Slight sweet fragrance. Its colors and markings are variable. Whether it makes it a broken color, I don’t know. Slate mauve and violet standards are flecked amber as are dark old gold styles. Mid caramel falls have red-brown flecks and mid black cherry signals veined red-black.

Slight musky fragrance. Loud and an unabashed extrovert. Wide mid burgundy bands turn to heavy sanding over buff centered standards. Zingy yellow plicata veins show through dark red burgundy sanded and lined overlay changing to solid bands. Orange ochre beards have the last say. Superb show stalks have three branches and 7-8 buds.

Pronounced sweet fragrance. This pretty little plicata continues with the contrasting-colored styles of ‘It’s a Small World’. Upright light buff standards showcase yummy mid peach styles. Buff falls are lightly washed pink and trimmed with elongated brown to plum plicata hafts. Big fully saturated screaming orange beards clamor for attention.

Pronounced spicy fragrance. And make it in blazingly bright gold. Intensely saturated, slightly bi-toned yellow-gold blooms have a dramatic charisma you won’t soon forget. Slight fragrance. Very light yellow-orange standards. Falls have a white ground that is completely lined with deep maroon red lines and veins. The hafts are touched yellow. Beards are white with tangerine hair tips. Very striking and the first lined SDB in this color that we know of. The parents of this one are the two iris named after our two little dogs. Sdlg. Musky fragrance. Yet again another introduction from the fabulous parent Alaia. These colors are in neon. Standards and styles have pink centers with light orange edges. Sweet fragrance. Orange Standards are a bit lighter and with some gold influence at the edges. Falls are Yellow-orange with a white spot below the brilliant tangerine-red beard. Sweet fragrance. Honey-gold and lavender-pink blended standards are more gold at the edges. Falls are white with a deep red violet band. Beards are orange with a medium lavender tip. Sweet fragrance. Standards are the darkest red violet with a very light rose edge. Falls are an intense shade of black mulberry with a thin light margin of light rose. There is just a touch of orange on either side of the white luminata patch. On The Cover is a very dark luminata but to the red tones of purple black where as many other dark luminatas currently on the market are to the blue tones of black. Sweet fragrance. Medium flesh pink standards. Falls are medium rose lilac with a white spray pattern around and extending below the red-orange beard. Light fragrance. Not just another plicata! Standards are mostly solid rich maroon with slight undertones of apricot in the center. The lacey edges of the very dark apricot styles are trimmed in maroon. Flaring falls have apricot-peach ground bordered by a solid maroon edge that turns to dots as it extends from the burnt dark orange beards. 9 to 10 buds on well branched stalks.
