Sweet fragrance. Here we have one of my infamous “small flowered tall bearded” introductions. Disclaimer: There is no such class. It is a TB, the only class for it. It is from about as diverse a parentage as one can get. There are TBs, tet MTBs, IBs, and SDBs in its background. What a breeding bonanza! Expect considerable variation in seedling heights in breeding. Clumps are filled with show stalks that have 3 to 4 branches and 12-15 buds. It is a showstopper. Growth and disease resistance is A++. Sweet fragrance. Smaller flowered it is, but with an impact that is unforgettable. A clump completely filled with stalks and myriads of clear light blue flowers creates an amazing memorable moment. Nothing but lilting bright mid yellow flowers and beards. Clumps are filled with stalks and myriads of flowers making for a superb landscape iris. Well-branched stalks have two branches plus spur and 7-8 buds.

CHANGE OF HABIT (P. Black '25)

It is easy to make a habit of this well-formed light silvery blue-violet and dark purple bitone with neat two-tone beards. Show stalks have three branches plus two spurs and 10-11 buds. Makes a lovely clump. Another very interesting parentage.
