A delightful mix of colors. The standards are soft lilac with a blended 1/4” edge of buff pink and flush at the midribs. The falls are light burgundy, lightning at the beards and set off with a well-defined 1/4” edge of muted gold. Beards are soft old gold. Flowers are ruffled and wide and there are plenty of buds with some show stems. Just a slight perfume.

Imagine laying in a lush green meadow with the warmth of the sun lulling you into a ‘Happy Daydream’. These tightly formed mid yellow blooms have just enough ruffling to give them a bouncy lift. Darker gold texture veins descend the falls. Strong show stalks have 3 branches and spur providing 9-10 buds. Its strong spicy fragrance is a plus.

Wow is what I always say when I see this one bloom. The flowers are large and very dramatic. Lavender standards with a slightly darker infusion in the midrib. Falls are a very deep plush purple black with a very ruffled lavender band and then a thin deep purple wire edge. The beards are a brilliant orange. A very clean brilliant contrast. Makes startling clumps!! Highly recommended.

‘Hold Me Now’ has amazing dark violet blue beards with just a brushing of chocolate over their tops. They are a colorful contrast to the mid pink standards and opaque pearl white falls that have darker pink hafts and lighter pink bands. Show stalks have ample buds to make a long bloom season. It is being used in hybridizing extensively for blue bearded pinks.

Exuberantly ruffled white flowers have indelible inky blue stitched plicata bands around falls. Standards have wide washed and stitched plicata bands with dotting inside them and lines up midribs. Standards have a white ground that is almost completely overlaid with lavender blue. Falls have a stark white ground with a deep inky blue purple plicata band. Tangerine beards are tipped violet. Garden performance is what comes to mind when I think of this iris. It is a very floriferous and strong grower that is quite stunning in full clump. Amazingly beautiful!!

Slight fragrance. LEAVE ME BREATHLESS is exactly what happened when I first laid eyes on this one when it bloomed as a seedling for me the first time. I remember gasping when I got down to the end of the row and saw it. Large showy flowers scream LOOK AT ME! A very fun pattern indeed I am going to let the picture do the talking as far the color is concerned. Nice well branched stems carry 9 buds. A favorite that never fails to delight.
