Musky fragrance. The quest for a TB with blue standards and pink falls has been a long and frustrating road for many hybridizers. Along the way there are beautiful seedlings worthy of introduction, and this is one of those. Larger flowers are carried on sturdy stalks. Notice the peach pink styles peering from between violet-blue standards. Standards are a blended light blue-violet and pink. Medium orchid standards rise above deeper orchid falls with red beards. It has been hard for me to get a picture that truly captures the beauty of this iris. The form is excellent, and the well ruffled flowers are displayed on nicely branched show stems with plenty of buds. Truly a nice iris.

What a great end to the season this laced wonder is. Standards of mid orchid blend to rosy pink and are topped and edged with crinkled lace. Expansive falls blend from grayed white centers to rosy pink, and are also edged in lace. Colorful yet elegant. Show stalks, just in case you ever have a really late show.

Perhaps I think about food too much, but I certainly think of dessert when I see this iris! It is the most yummy combination of colors, accentuated by heavy ruffles and lace. Truly a stunning iris! Flesh pink standards are a deeper shade in the center. Falls are white, with a very wide, ruffled, and laced medium orchid band. A touch of pink at the hafts on either side of the soft coral and white beard add perfectly to the elegance. A perennial favorite every year since its maiden bloom. Sdlg. TO187L: Anti Hero sibling
