Slight fragrance. This iris has fascinated me since its maiden bloom. The pattern is different especially for a horned variety. Standards and styles are a medium coral pink. Flaring falls are like a zebra. Is it medium orchid violet with pink veins or deep pink with medium orchid violet veins? The falls also have a defined narrow band of pink-orchid. Slight fragrance. Yellow standards. Falls are deep orchid purple with a yellow zone on either side of the orange beard. Very wide and overlapping falls are nicely ruffled. Nicely formed flowers are held on tall well branched and budded stems. A favorite. Sdlg. Z29-A: In Grand Style sib.

Musky fragrance. The quest for a TB with blue standards and pink falls has been a long and frustrating road for many hybridizers. Along the way there are beautiful seedlings worthy of introduction, and this is one of those. Larger flowers are carried on sturdy stalks. Notice the peach pink styles peering from between violet-blue standards. Standards are a blended light blue-violet and pink. Medium orchid standards rise above deeper orchid falls with red beards. It has been hard for me to get a picture that truly captures the beauty of this iris. The form is excellent, and the well ruffled flowers are displayed on nicely branched show stems with plenty of buds. Truly a nice iris.

What a great end to the season this laced wonder is. Standards of mid orchid blend to rosy pink and are topped and edged with crinkled lace. Expansive falls blend from grayed white centers to rosy pink, and are also edged in lace. Colorful yet elegant. Show stalks, just in case you ever have a really late show.
