Sweet fragrance. Under Pressure is another iris that was labeled as an intro from maiden bloom. It never ceases to perform and has good stems and buds as well. Bright yellow standards. The falls are a bit complicated. There is a yellow sunburst in the center that is bordered with a diffused wash of red violet. Then the violet transitions to lavender and finally a very light yellow rim with a violet wire edge. Sdlg. TK170C: Dare To Be Different and This Is Crazy sib.

Slight sweet fragrance. I have a bit of a love for orange amoenas and this one is no exception! Standards are cream with orange centers. Falls are a rich orange with deep red-orange beards. Light sweet fragrance. Gold and rose blended standards with a gold band. Falls are a rich burgundy with a wide lilac rose band and then a second but narrower gold band. Large well-formed flowers on tall stems. A very colorful and fun iris. Sdlg. TI61ZZ: What a Circus sib.

Sweet fragrance. Standards are lavender with gold veining though out and a gold edge. Falls are white with a lilac and rose dotted band and a blue dart below the beard. Pronounced musky fragrance Marrying an IB and TB, both having exceptional branching and buds, created this wildly floriferous smaller flowered garden standout. Standards of white blossoms are widely plic marked violet blue with similar narrower band around falls. Mid gold beards are a subtle accent. Lightly fragrant. More coral than pink, this self reminds me of the coral jewelry you can obtain in Hawaii. The color always stops me in the garden because of its intensity. The coral-pink is a little creamy around the beards. Beards are coral, lightening to peach at the upturned tip. Flowers are ruffled with slightly crimped edges. Slight fragrance. This iris has fascinated me since its maiden bloom. The pattern is different especially for a horned variety. Standards and styles are a medium coral pink. Flaring falls are like a zebra. Is it medium orchid violet with pink veins or deep pink with medium orchid violet veins? The falls also have a defined narrow band of pink-orchid. Light fragrance. Not just another plicata! Standards are mostly solid rich maroon with slight undertones of apricot in the center. The lacey edges of the very dark apricot styles are trimmed in maroon. Flaring falls have apricot-peach ground bordered by a solid maroon edge that turns to dots as it extends from the burnt dark orange beards. 9 to 10 buds on well branched stalks. Light sweet fragrance. The markings and color of this iris remind me of a fine Monet painting. Standards are bordered dark apricot diffusing to medium plum purple in the center. The dark apricot styles are tinted purple and are fringed. Falls have wide borders of plum purple that streaks into the medium apricot center. Extending from the dark tangerine beards are plum purple belly stripes. Great stalks with three branches support 9-13 buds. 5217A: Hot Wired sib.

Slight sweet fragrance. As I work toward pink ground plicatas interesting combos are happening. The standards of Perky Lass are light pinkish salmon, lightly washed light violet.
