Peach pink Standards with lighter peach edge. Falls have a peach pink ground overlaid and washed with deeper lavender texture vein lines. The falls are then encircled with a lighter peach edge. The flowers are full formed and heavily ruffled and laced. Nicely branched stems. The flower can vary being more clean peach tones with lighter violet fall veins in warm sunny weather and showing more violet and more pronounced veining especially in the falls on cooler cloudy days. Check out both photos to see the difference. Either way it is very pretty and unique. Very different!

The extreme ruffles of Baltic Sea reminds us of the power of crashing, windswept waves as they curl toward the shore. Large, tightly formed medium marine blue flowers are breathtaking when seen singly or in clump. Beards are soft cream to blue-white. Strong growth produces stalks with 3 branches and about 9 buds. Heavy substance helps Baltic Sea maintain its lovely form even in the rain.

Medium lavender pink standards. Falls are darker with a lighter edge. Beards are a frosted lavender. Nice show stems, and a good grower. The flowers are well formed with nice width and are lightly laced. A very lovely pastel. Classy!

Deep toasted watermelon standards with lighter edges. Falls are light creamy pink with deeper toasted watermelon area around beard extending to a fall wash and then a light buff pink band. Very nicely ruffled full formed flowers are carried on nice show stems with 8 buds. A very lovely blended creation.

Pink Standards; Falls have a light pink to white ground with a lavender stitched plicata band. Orange Beards are tipped white. We really like this plicata coming from non-traditional plicata breeding at least on the mother’s side. A strong grower and a fun color combination. Large flowers have nice wide and ruffled form. We have been hybridizing heavily with BEAUTICIAN.

Classic aril traits and relatively easy culture make this a prime selection for those wanting to give their first arilbred a try. Near white standards are finally netted mid lilac. The hazy anthocyanin (blue to purple pigments) over the lower falls of plicatas have been informally dubbed “ghost plics” because of their ethereal appearance. It is probably a variant of the Celestar pattern and can vary considerably in intensity and application. White standards are heavily plic sanded over centers becoming solid toward red plum bands lined darker plum and showcasing unique black plum styles. Wide white falls have 3/4 inch stitched and sanded lilac plic bands with ghostly light lilac rouging inside them and dark plum haft markings. Mid marigold beards are a delightful accent. Show stalks have 4 branches and spur and 10-12 buds. Later bloom helps ensure a quality performance in colder climates.

When working with bicolors and amoenas, neglectas are so often encountered and usually dismissed as just another neglecta. This one however defies that perception. It is so captivating when you see it in the garden. The standards are lavender-lilac and the falls are rich violet with a well-defined 3/8” edge of lavender. Beards are burnt tangerine. Wide overlapping falls, ruffles showing quite a bit of lace. Well branched with show stems and fertile. Super.
