Light pink standards are overlaid light orange and have deeper orange veins in center and peach band. Falls are a rich deep burnt orange with fully saturated tangerine beards. I wish the branching was a bit wider and the stems a bit taller but the color is dynamite, simply nothing like it!! Always stops visitors to the garden in their tracks!

Slight sweet fragrance. I have a bit of a love for orange amoenas and this one is no exception! Standards are cream with orange centers. Falls are a rich orange with deep red-orange beards. POWER AND PRESTIGE (T. Johnson ’24)

Light fragrance. Creamy white standards have light orange centers with light lavender veins, becoming orange as they extend outwards to the petal’s edge. Falls are a medium orange with salmon tones blended in the center. We continue to work on the orange amoena type to improve the stems. Light fragrance. Icy white standards are flushed and veined pink in the center. Falls are orange with an overall wash of salmon-rose and slightly deeper veins. This one is a bit hard to describe. Standards are a lovely blended lavender with medium burnt orange centers transitioning to orange veins as they move toward the edge. Falls are a complex blend of colors that appear as a deep burnt orange to red creating a very lovely and distinctive color. Great branching and stems carry well-formed flowers that are a true delight. Coming from the beautifully colored and formed Shockaholic. Challenge Accepted is a nice advancement in this color pattern.

I have been working with Shockaholic as a parent, trying to put a really nice stem on intensely colored patterns involving orange. This one certainly makes the mark. Standards have pink centers that transition to peach. Falls are a vibrant medium orange. Great stems carry nicely ruffled and very elegant flowers. Such a lovely medley of colors!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED (Thomas Johnson ’26)

I had a dream many years ago to take that wonderful burnt orange color on the iris ‘Shockaholic’ and put it on a plant that had wider branching and a better stem, thus the name of this lovely result, Mission Accomplished. I am very happy with this one. The standards are light blue lavender with a deep orange spot in the center. Falls are rich burnt orange with a lighter edge. Beards are rich tangerine to red. The icing on the cake is the tall, well branched and budded stems. Mission Accomplished also inherited its great vigor from ‘Shockaholic’. Sdlg. TN157ZZ: Big Flirt sibling X Shockaholic
