Icy white standards with green veining up the midrib. Falls are white with gold veined hafts and gold and purple blended veins on either side of the beard. Then there is almost a complete white bar across the falls which transitions into purple lines and wash and finally a light lemon edge. A very complex color pattern indeed. Even the beard is different. The hairs are white at the base then orange and finally red at the tips. Nice branching and strong growth and 8 buds. A favorite seedling of mine for the last few years. Very distinctive and won’t be confused with anything else.

A stunning color combination. The standards are creamy beige and falls are dusky rose with soft lemon overlay around the burnt tango beards and a 1/4” edge of beige finish it off. Standards are slightly open but firm. Show stems and very fertile. Love this and want to see the seedlings from this Iris.

Golden-orange and salmon blended Standards; Falls have an orange ground overlaid with deep wide red violet lines becoming more solid violet towards edge. The falls are then encircled with an orange band. We have worked on the lined pattern for some time and PARTY CITY has one of the widest fullest formed flowers we have produced to date. Very large flowers and a joy to behold.

Pink Standards with slight gilt edge. Falls are deep lavender purple with a light lavender edge and then encircled with a purple wire rim. Beards are a strange deep lavender with frosted hair tips. Gorgeous show stems with tons of buds ensure a long bloom season. Used heavily in hybridizing.

Cream to flesh pink standards that are heavily infused antique to rose pink in centers. Falls are deeper flamingo to rose pink with tangerine beards. Nicely formed and ruffled flowers are carried on show stems with 11 buds early in the season. Coming out of a cross made with two Blyth seedlings. Very nice!

Yellow to gold standards with a little violet blended in. Falls are plush and rich deep burgundy black changing to a feathered red edge then encircled with a lavender blue band and finally edged gold. A beautiful flower for sure. Branched stalks have up to 12 buds. Color!!

Sweet fragrance. Egg shell to light lavender standards with a narrow buff-gold ruffled rim. Milk glass white falls have a deep violet plicata band. There is a heavy concentration of violet across the hafts that forms a solid violet dart below burnt orange beards. Contrasting medium salmon style arms and a slight blush of salmon on the hafts of the falls completes the effect. A super strong grower with lovely show stems and triple bud sockets from top to bottom yields 12 or more total buds.

Slight fragrance. There was never any doubt whether this iris would get introduced or not. The color is rich pink with orange tones and orange beards, but what makes Kissing Booth shine is its bloom habits. The last two years it bloomed heavily for an entire month. Absolutely spectacular in full flower that lasts and lasts. Lots of buds and good form on nicely branched stems. Lots of sequential stalks contribute to its long bloom season. Sdlg. Sweet fragrance. Golden yellow standards. Falls are very difficult to describe. Essentially a deep maroon around and below the beard that blends out to a washed maroon over lavender and finally forming a gold band. Beautiful form with consistent show stems the norm. Sweet fragrance. Flesh pink standards have medium lavender shot up the midribs and light lemon touched petal edges. Falls are a very rich lavender violet with a lighter edge. Near red beards have a violet tip. Very wide expansive flowers held on well branched stems Great distinctiveness on this intriguing bicolor. Sdlg. Sweet fragrance. Standards have medium rose pink centers and a flesh pink edge. Falls are a rich purple with a near black purple haft. Even the beard is dark being purple with burnt orange hair tips giving it a bit of a gothic look. I love pink and purple combinations although they are not that common. A very pretty iris. Sdlg. This kitty looks more like it is ready to go partying rather than cozy up at home. Falls on light pink flowers with mid pink styles have mid red-purple lined and sanded hafts and center stripes. Beards are flaming neon coral pink. Makes a joyful clump. Another interesting parentage.

LATE TO THE PARTY (P. Black '25)
TB Late-very late 35” (89cm) Slight sweet fragrance.
For those in colder climates and areas subject to late frosts and freezes, a plicata being Late To The Party is a good thing. White standards have wide mid-dark purple plicata banding and sparse dotting over the center. The white of the standards accents the dark purple style arms. White falls have dark plum plicata hafts and narrow light plum plicata bands. The large mid marigold beards are an interesting accent. Overall, a very clean and exciting flower. The ground color and plicata markings are somewhat variable. Two branches plus spur carry 7-8 buds.

The warm yellow color of the standards calms the eye, while the violet and maroon blended and streaked falls banded with tan push toward party time. Strong growth creates clumps filled with eye-catching flowers. Weather resistant stalks have 3 branches plus spur and 8-9 buds.
