Beige standards with violet flush up the midrib and slight gold blending at petal edges. Falls are a rich deep lavender becoming lighter at the edge. Burnt orange beards are tipped deep lavender. This is a very classy looking iris with gorgeous form and wide ruffles on show stems with ample buds. A very dependable and consistent showoff in clump. Nice!!

Oyster standards with lemon infusions throughout. Falls are a purple and violet blend with a wide light lavender band. Large ruffled and extremely showy blooms make this a very decadent looking confection. Nicely branched and budded. Extremely showy!!

Smooth black cherry standards over deeper black cherry falls with fully saturated tangerine orange beards. The clarity and smoothness of the color is very clean and crisp looking in the garden. Fantastic growth and show stems coming from the wonderful parent ‘Sharp Dressed Man’. Very striking and sharp looking for sure!!

Sweet fragrance. Yellow standards. Falls have a white ground with yellow hafts and wide band. Maroon lines radiate out across the hafts and below the beard forming a pattern. The cross that produced Curly Fries was made note only for color but form. Both parents are known to transmit a nice ruffled form to its children so it seemed like a perfect marriage. Really beautiful ruffles and a bright orange beard. Very cool looking.

Sweet fragrance. Brilliant golden yellow standards are edged with a unique rust veined pattern. Rich and plush mahogany red falls have a yellow central sunburst pattern with red lines radiating throughout. Strong growth with nice show stalks carrying 8 or more buds. Quite a dramatic looking iris in the field.

Sweet fragrance. Canary yellow standards. Falls are canary yellow at the hafts becoming a light yellow wash below the beard. The light yellow then blends into a wide rose pink band. A very pretty and unique color combination. Nice full and ruffled form, show branching and good bud count. Very stately looking.

Very sharp looking and bright.

Oh Far Out is what I say each year when I approach this iris. The intensity of the gold is so bright, it is amazing!! Brilliant golden yellow flowers have a wide and precise maroon red band and lighter rim on the falls. An absolutely stunning iris in a clump!! Strong show stems are in abundance. Recommended for those who are looking for an iris to make a statement.

Quarter arilbreds keep getting better and better, and more aril looking, with the big plus that they are easy to grow. Awesome white standards have light yellow centers and lined filigree with mid yellow styles peeking out. The light-yellow base of falls are washed and blended mid rose. Dark black-cherry streaked chevron signals surround brassy old gold beards.

This pattern is so clear and matter of fact that I thought it deserved a name that is a strong statement. Looking Like That is bold and beautiful, and creates quite a stir. Standards are complex, with deep lemon centers becoming the lightest lavender, then showing lemon veining at the edge. Falls are rich deep lavender, with a massive deep burgundy signal and yellow orange beards. Fantastic stems that are well branched and held high above the foliage set the stage for quite a show. Light lavender white standards have dark lemon centers and a light lemon touched edge. Falls are a light lavender white with a deep rust haft and a deep violet black flash below the beard.
