Standards mustard to lemon yellow. Falls are a rich medium mauve to violet with a lighter brownish fall edge. Hafts are touched yellow to brown on either side of russet beards. An iris that is a bit difficult to photograph. Super form and ruffles on well branched and budded show stalks. A favorite and tagged for introduction from its maiden bloom. Recommended!!

Sweet fragrance. Plum purple standards blushed lighter in the center. Falls are medium lavender with very deep plum hafts and narrow medium plum band. Nicely formed and ruffled flowers are carried on show stems with 9 buds. Very distinctive and pretty.

FLYING FREE (T. Johnson ’23)

Sweet fragrance. Standards are an off white with medium violet veins and shades of lemon blending throughout the petal. The lemon is more concentrated in the center and the edge. Falls are a rich lavender violet deepening at the hafts and lightening at the petal edge. Put all this together with fantastic wide bubble ruffles and you have a very showy creation indeed. Sdlg. CARICATURE (T. Johnson ’24)

Sweet fragrance. Golden yellow standards infused pink in the centers. Falls are lavender with a deep raspberry fall wash extending from the beard halfway down the petal. Beards are a brilliant tangerine. Lovely form, branching, and strong growth combined with a very eye-catching pattern makes Caricature a striking garden plant. Sdlg.
