White ground standards overlaid with deep purple just allowing a bit of white to show in the center. Falls are white with a deep purple black band and deep purple black hafts around blue tipped rust beards. This is one long blooming iris. It starts the season and is still flowering when the late bloomers start. Very floriferous and a vigorous grower. Nicely formed wide and ruffled flowers. A quality iris!

Slight sweet fragrance. Clean brilliant mustard gold standards. Falls are cream with a light yellow touched wash. The falls are banded Deep oxblood red that is deeper and solid at the hafts and a showy oxblood center belly stripe that extends from the sienna beard to distal end. Excellent stems that are strong and with 9 buds will win on the show bench. Intensely dramatic in person. A wow iris for sure.

Sweet fragrance. A very early and long blooming variety, definitely in the top ten to start the season. Marked as an introduction from its maiden bloom it has performed consistently every year. A bit hard to capture but the color is so bright in the sun it appears on fire. Beautiful full ruffled form and show stems with ample buds. Brilliant gold standards sit atop rich burgundy red falls with orange beards. A definite garden favorite.

The hafts have deep violet lines and there is a center line of violet below the beard. Beards are white with orange hair tips. A beautiful take on a purple and white plicata. Sweet fragrance. White ground standards are heavily overlaid deep blue purple with a deep plum to near black band. Falls are white with an inner band of deep blue purple dots and a more solid outer band of deep plum. The beard is an unusual blend with the hairs being blue purple at the base then white and finally yellow at the tips creating quite a complex treat. Evening Stroll has finally broken the link between shorter stature and lower bud count in the deep purple-black plicata lines. Seven to nine buds on tall well branched stalks are the norm. Sdlg. Golden yellow standards sit atop white falls with a deep red purple band. An absolutely stunning and clean color combination, Suggestion jumps out at you in the garden with its cheerful bright colors. Tall and well branched stems make it a good show iris as well. Excellent!!
