Pink Standards; Falls have a light pink to white ground with a lavender stitched plicata band. Orange Beards are tipped white. We really like this plicata coming from non-traditional plicata breeding at least on the mother’s side. A strong grower and a fun color combination. Large flowers have nice wide and ruffled form. We have been hybridizing heavily with BEAUTICIAN.

Cream ground almost completely overlaid with pink and a little bit of violet dotting. Falls are stark white with a violet plicata band. Beards tangerine with red tips. A very clean and pretty bicolor plicata. Nice wide form and strong growth with show stems. Nice!!

PURE INTENTIONS (Thomas Johnson ’22)
TB Midseason 36” (91cm) Slight fragrance. White standards have a narrow gold halo that is matched on the style crests. Falls are white with a violet plicata stitched edge. Beards mustard- yellow, more tangerine in the throat. An excellent grower with strong show stems carrying 10 buds. Nice ruffled, wide and overlapping form adds to the show. Gives a very clean and sharp look to the garden.

TURN BACK TIME (T. Johnson ’22)

Sweet fragrance. Standards have a cream ground that is almost completely overlaid with gold and a crystalline white petal edge. Falls are white with a lilac blue plicata band and dotted bar on either side of the beard. I simply love this iris. The color combination is so unique and carries the wow factor when in flower. Tall well branched stalks beckon to you from across the garden.

Sweet fragrance. Golden yellow standards with an ever so slightly stitched violet edge. Falls are cream with medium violet stitched hafts and narrow stitched band. All Stitched Up will start the TB bloom season and will continue on blooming all the way through midseason. A super strong grower, heavy bloomer with show stems galore. Sdlg. Sweet fragrance. Standards are lavender with pink veining and infusions in the center. Contrasting medium salmon pink style arms are quite noticeable. Slight fragrance. White ground standards are sanded all over with light golden yellow dotting. Falls are white with a light lilac dotted band. There is a red violet haft that spreads across the falls on either side of the burnt orange beards. Slight fragrance. Pink standards. Falls are pure white with a medium lilac plicata edge and short violet dart below red-orange beards. There is also a red violet lined and dotted bar across the haft. Medium peachy orange standards rise above cream ground falls with a wide rosy pink dotted plicata band. There is also dotting across the hafts and a light blush of peach. A really bright and cheerful bicolor plicata.

MAGIC STITCH (T. Johnson ’25)
TB Early-midseason 37” (94cm) Sweet fragrance.
Standards have a cream base that is heavily overlaid with violet dotting in the center, extending out to form a lavender pink band. Falls are white with a slight lemon wash and a very precise deep violet stitched and dotted band. Magic Stitch is an absolutely incredible grower that covers itself in show stems. Flowers are very well-formed and held on strong stems. A super garden performer!!
