From the ashes rises this magnificent creation clothed in dramatic plumage. It instantly demands respect and attention when it appears. Vivid gold standards base is lined and rimmed mid auburn and repeated around upper 1/3 with wider margin banding. White veins surround dark marigold beards on red black falls. Ample rufflling gives this Phoenix an extra lift. Strong show stalks have 3 branches and 10-11 buds. A strong sweet perfume is a bonus.

Coming out of my lined pattern breeding, THUNDERING APPLAUSE pushes the pattern a step further. We are finally getting wide ruffled and even slightly laced form. Creamy white standards are infused peach pink. Falls have a light lemon base that is overlaid with violet lines radiating from the heart of the flower and becoming more of a wash near the edge. Then the whole pattern is framed by a nice lemon-yellow band. Tangerine beards help to compliment the pattern. Super strong growth on floriferous clumps.

These tears add up to a stunning plicata. Classically formed ruffled blooms have palest pink standards heavily plic washed, sanded, and veined dark lilac. Wide pink buff fall centers are dotted mid lilac becoming darker and more heavily applied toward edges. White hafts are lined and sanded dark lilac on each side of burnt orange beards. Vigorous growth produces stalks with 3 branches plus spur and 9-10 buds. A pronounced sweet fragrance is a plus.

No fragrance ‘Mini Stripe’ is an eye-catching sport of a quite average purple seedling. Both standards and falls of silvery translucent white flowers have mid to dark violet lines etched overall and becoming a closer stitched fall band. Light fragrance. Creamy standards have pink centers and a gilt lemon edge. Falls are yellow with red violet lines extending from the beard to near the petal edge. The lines become a series of dots just before it becomes a yellow edge. A different color for the lined pattern. Nice stems and large well-formed and ruffled flowers. Unique. Sdlg. Large, oncocyclus type blooms have white standards with fine amethyst lined filigree overall. Mid maroon falls are finely filigreed with darker lines. Bold black signals compel you to have a close-up look. Stunning!

This kitty looks more like it is ready to go partying rather than cozy up at home. Falls on light pink flowers with mid pink styles have mid red-purple lined and sanded hafts and center stripes. Beards are flaming neon coral pink. Makes a joyful clump. Another interesting parentage.

An abundance of ruffles, pleasing color contrasts, and all-around great garden performance make Beyond Fabulous a prime candidate for your garden. Light grayed cantaloupe centers blend to very wide pale icy blue-white bands. Dark blended dark purple falls have white hafts heavily lined and sanded dark maroon and are finished with medium wide icy white streaked bands. Two-toned beards are mid marigold, ending in light violet. Three branches provide 8-9 buds. Strong growth.
