Standards have a white ground overlaid solid deep gold in center becoming gold veining and finally a gold band at petal edge. Falls are a rich lavender to light red violet with a deep black cherry red thumbprint hafts and slight fall wash. Very pretty color combination and one that has been used a lot in hybridizing.

Sweet fragrance. Golden yellow standards. Falls are very difficult to describe. Essentially a deep maroon around and below the beard that blends out to a washed maroon over lavender and finally forming a gold band. Beautiful form with consistent show stems the norm. Light sweet fragrance. Gold and rose blended standards with a gold band. Falls are a rich burgundy with a wide lilac rose band and then a second but narrower gold band. Large well-formed flowers on tall stems. A very colorful and fun iris. Sdlg. TI61ZZ: What a Circus sib.

Sweet fragrance. Light violet flushed standards have a buff rim. Falls are a rich deep violet with a wide medium lavender band. Beards are purple with orange hair tips. Nice wide round and blocky form really helps to show off the dramatic falls. Well branched and budded stems will help it win on the show bench. Striking color and pattern. Sdlg. Sweet fragrance. Deep golden yellow standards, deeper in the center. Falls are a medium blue purple with a wide red haft bar that extends out below the beard and then blends into the blue purple. There is a buff yellow fall edge setting the stage for the wild beards. Beards are yellow with long horns or flounces in shades of purple. Out Of Character was given its name because it is not always consistent with its horns. Some years they are very consistent throughout; other years it is less so. Light fragrance. Salmon pink standards. Falls are a medium blue purple with a wide deep red violet lined bar completely covering the haft and extending out the length of the beard. Your eyes will immediately be drawn to the very large and showy red beards. A very distinctive and fun iris for sure, with excellent growth and well branched show stems. Sdlg.
