Slight sweet fragrance I’ve thought for a while it was time for an update of the older, ‘Sand and Sea’. My ideal goal is yellow standards and band on blue falls. ‘Time Capsule’ is a notable step toward that goal. Dark red-violet standards base blend to gray then brassy gold then to tan margins. Pale blue falls are narrowly banded light yellow. Distinctive mid blue beards are tipped from tan throats to white ends. Compact flowers are lightly ruffled and laced. Three branches present 7-8 flowers.

Slight fragrance. Medium lavender standards are infused violet in the center and etched with a deep violet wire rim. Falls are a plush burgundy to black with a narrow lighter rim. Buff pink standards are heavily infused with lavender up the midrib. Falls are a rich and smooth lavender violet with a lighter wash extending down on either side of the beard. Lost In Thought has a very nicely formed flower on great stems. Such a clean and pleasing color and presentation.

MOST INTERESTING (T. Johnson ’25)
IB Early-midseason 27” (68.5cm) Slight fragrance.
Very light lavender standards have a wide light yellow band. Lemon style arms peek through above the orange beard. Falls are cream with a violet central wash, a lemon band, and dotted hafts. A really strong grower and heavy bloomer, very different. Makes a dazzling display.

SDB Early-midseason 11” (28cm) Slight fragrance.
Standards are medium lavender-purple with slightly deeper centers. Falls are lavender-purple with a deep intense oxblood red area around and just below the brownish beard. Amazing color!
