Standards are a blended pink with peach gold bands. Falls are white with a narrow light peach band. There is a slight medium peach touched haft area on either side of large powder blue beards. Wonderful wide and ruffled and even slightly laced flowers are carried on gorgeous show stems. A fantastic way to close the season. A very much admired, elegant beauty!!

Pink standards; falls are medium rosy pink in the center forming a deeper rosy pink blended band. Beautifully ruffled and even lightly laced petal edges on well-formed flowers carried on good stalks. Strawberry Bliss is a good grower and makes a beautiful clump. The flowers do fade with age but are still very lovely. Large shrimp pink beards certainly add to the attraction. One that has been much admired. Beautiful!!

Pronounced sweet fragrance Some seedlings are destined for introduction from the moment they open. This is one. It remains a favorite. White standards have light yellow centers changing to veining moving outward. Mid yellow styles echo the standards. Upper two-thirds of white falls are covered with heavy closely spaced dark red-brown veins and mottling. A white stripe bisects them. Neat half and half beards are mid gold ending in white. Slight fragrance. Medium pink standards. White falls are flushed pink, becoming deeper at the edges. Beards are a lovely violet blue with just a brushing of orange at the hair tips, giving a very pretty effect. Sweet fragrance. Ooh la la is what I say each year when this one starts to flower. Impeccable wide and ruffled form. Not really sure whether to call this a bicolor or a blend. Whatever it is, we like it very much, and we love to hybridize with it. Blended golden orange and salmon standards swirl elegantly above light rosy lavender falls with a peach wash, deeper at the hafts, and lighter as it moves down the petal. Oh, and did we mention it is ruffled? This was a very productive cross and has yielded many intros including last year’s Head Of The Class and Refined Elegance. Sdlg. Imagine white cascades of water plunging into white sprays darkening into dark blue waves moving outward. Angel Falls is an intriguingly stunning sight. Bright marigold beards are a bit of sun to highlight the moment. Purple based foliage extending to clean blue-green leaves is a special bonus. Show branched stalks have 3 branches plus spur and 9-10 buds. A clump of these beauties is unforgettable.

She is all dressed up for her picture perfect moment. White ground standards have wide solid dark maroon bands and heavy overall plicata sanded centers. Interiors of the standards have white ground with plicata marks similar to falls. Broad white falls have mid red-violet sanding within wide dark maroon plicata bands. Widely spaced dark maroon lines traverse the centers. Three branches have 8-9 buds. Strong growth.
