Sweet fragrance. Brilliant gold standards with a few random burgundy spots near the edge. Falls are light yellow with a lighter cream area below the beard. There is a pattern of darker gold at the hafts and on the edge that is in turn overlaid with burgundy stripes and dots. Short burgundy lines randomly jut out below the neon tangerine beard. Neon colors!!

Pronounced sweet fragrance Don’t be afraid to strut your stuff and let the world know who you are. This one wears its brash, loud and boisterous colors as a badge of uniqueness. Light ruby veins and wire rim encircle light gold standards. Dark gold style crests have dark brown stripes. White fall centers are outrageously veined and sanded dark wine transitioning into wide solid red-black band with crinkle laced edges dotted white. Show stalks with 3-4 branches and 8-10 buds. Light sweet fragrance. The markings and color of this iris remind me of a fine Monet painting. Standards are bordered dark apricot diffusing to medium plum purple in the center. The dark apricot styles are tinted purple and are fringed. Falls have wide borders of plum purple that streaks into the medium apricot center. Extending from the dark tangerine beards are plum purple belly stripes. Great stalks with three branches support 9-13 buds. 5217A: Hot Wired sib.

Pronounced sweet fragrance This beauty is another project that has taken more than a few generations to get achieve, and it still isn’t finished. The goal is a clear pink amoena and blue/pink bicolor. Both are possible given enough generations. Cool white standards have light green veins up midribs. Light peach falls blend to buttery yellow. This kitty looks more like it is ready to go partying rather than cozy up at home. Falls on light pink flowers with mid pink styles have mid red-purple lined and sanded hafts and center stripes. Beards are flaming neon coral pink. Makes a joyful clump. Another interesting parentage.

Here is another of the fantastic Crocodile Smile offspring with unique lined falls in various colors that I’ve been anxious to introduce. White standards have wide almost solid dark purple plicata bands and heavily stitched and sanded centers. White falls have intermittent lines over their centers and a solid center stripe. The number and length of lines is variable. I can’t wait to see more of its kids. Three branches and 8-9 buds is typical.
