Sweet fragrance. A bit of a hard color combination to describe. Standards are a muted lavender violet lightening towards the edge and becoming a gold band and then a very light lavender edge. Falls are mostly a deep plush red-violet but with a deeper blue blended central belly stripe. The blue coloration also peeks through closer to the fall edge. The edge of the petal has a border of light flesh pink. The blue tipped beards also add a lot to the pattern. Wonderful large and ruffled flowers with exquisite form that keeps you coming back for another look. 8 buds are borne on nicely branched stems. Proving to be an excellent parent. The color does lighten with age but gracefully and with class.

No fragrance. To the best of our knowledge this is the first TB flat plicata to be introduced, thus the name. No standards and 6 falls. The style arms are etched on the crests with the same pattern as is on the edge of the falls. The falls are white then bordered and stitched red violet. Sometimes but not always each fall will have a center belly stripe of violet that appears as a narrow straight line extending from the beard to the petal edge. Sdlg. Sweet fragrance. Icy blue white standards have a deep lemon base then becoming lemon veining. Falls are white with a deep violet band, haft and center belly stripe. Sweet fragrance. Lavender blue standards with a yellowish green veined network in the center. Falls are an intensely deep velvety black purple with a white sunburst. A wide deep purple belly stripe runs from the beard to the purple band. This is one spectacular iris. Great form, buds, branching and growth, and show stalks always. Tenacity has been marked as an introduction since its maiden bloom. She is also proving to be a very good parent. Sdlg. Light fragrance. Light lavender to white standards with slightly darker lavender stitching and dotting. Falls are white with a violet dotted edge. There is a narrow violet belly stripe below the beard. The beard is quite intricate with a white base and then purple and finally orange hair tips. Musky fragrance. The quest for a TB with blue standards and pink falls has been a long and frustrating road for many hybridizers. Along the way there are beautiful seedlings worthy of introduction, and this is one of those. Larger flowers are carried on sturdy stalks. Notice the peach pink styles peering from between violet-blue standards. Standards are a blended light blue-violet and pink. Sweet fragrance. Amply ruffled flowers are displayed on superbly branched show stalks. Strong growing, disease resistant foliage makes Ripples In Time a good landscape plant. Three branches and a spur provide 10-11 buds. Its lovely pastel color is a perfect foil for darker colors. Standards are lemon with gold centers. Deep golden yellow standards rise above yellow ground falls overlaid with a deep mahogany red haft and striped edge. The yellow ground on the fall extends out between the mahogany to create a rayed effect. There is a large lavender area below the orange beard. Quite a busy and dramatic flower. Sdlg. Light lavender standards have a lighter area with lilac dotting in the center. Deep salmon pink style arms peek out from inside the standards, adding great contrast.
