Believe is named to remind myself that someday I hope to have a dramatic orange with deep blue beards. Although this is not it yet, it is another step in that direction. Very pretty with nice stems, growth and plenty of buds.

Cream ground almost completely overlaid with pink and a little bit of violet dotting. Falls are stark white with a violet plicata band. Beards tangerine with red tips. A very clean and pretty bicolor plicata. Nice wide form and strong growth with show stems. Nice!!

A very pretty approach to a pink amoena that makes a super garden display. It has some excellent show stems. Standards are white, flushed with soft pink at the midribs. Falls are soft creamy pink, deeper on the outer ½” and at the hafts. Beards are tangerine on white.

Ivory standards with a blue cast and a strong deep pink center spot. Falls are light blue, pink and white blend with deep pink hafts and very light powder blue beards. Very wide form helps to show off the deep pink thumbprint hafts. Very distinctive and pretty.

Lovely coral to peach pink standards. Falls are a pretty lavender pink with deeper coral hafts and a lighter area below nice shrimp pink beards. Beautiful form on nicely ruffled flowers. A very elegant a yummy color. A later flowering variety with nice show stems. Classy!

Pronounced sweet fragrance. This pretty little plicata continues with the contrasting-colored styles of ‘It’s a Small World’. Upright light buff standards showcase yummy mid peach styles. Buff falls are lightly washed pink and trimmed with elongated brown to plum plicata hafts. Big fully saturated screaming orange beards clamor for attention.

Sweet fragrance. Cream standards with dark pink centers and golden orange edging. Falls are creamy white with deep orange hafts and edge. The flowers are heavily ruffled and ever so slightly laced. A very pretty iris for later in the season. Sdlg. TK107C: Stage Fright sib.

Sweet fragrance. Very pretty shade of mauve to lavender standards, deeper in color at the base. Pretty buff pink style arms add a bit of subtle contrast. Falls are very light mauve to near white. Beards are a true lavender with white hair tips. This iris is from blue bearded pink breeding. I can visualize someday having a white with a large lavender beard. Sdlg. POWER AND PRESTIGE (T. Johnson ’24)

Light fragrance. Creamy white standards have light orange centers with light lavender veins, becoming orange as they extend outwards to the petal’s edge. Falls are a medium orange with salmon tones blended in the center. We continue to work on the orange amoena type to improve the stems. Epilogue is another iris people have been waiting for. It is from my long running attempt to put lace on SDBs. The fall edges of this pretty flower are serrated but not truly laced. It seems I may never hit the goal. Light pink standards have light gilt yellow bands. Light pink styles look out over falls having light-mid yellow hafts and wide blended band with pale flesh pink centers.
