It normally has at least 20 buds. Classically formed and ruffled sparkling white flowers have mid violet blue plicata band standards surrounding mid violet blue styles. Falls have a wire rim plic edging. Smaller flowers allow flowers to show without crowding. Proportion is its hallmark. Breathtaking clumps!

The extreme ruffles of Baltic Sea reminds us of the power of crashing, windswept waves as they curl toward the shore. Large, tightly formed medium marine blue flowers are breathtaking when seen singly or in clump. Beards are soft cream to blue-white. Strong growth produces stalks with 3 branches and about 9 buds. Heavy substance helps Baltic Sea maintain its lovely form even in the rain.

What a breathtaking sight a clump of 'Star in the Night' makes! Darkness descends as dark blue purple standards turn to inky blue black falls. White beards laid over violet bases shine brightly. Flowers are gently ruffled so as not to diminish the simple beauty of Star in the Night. Muted white rays amplify that brightness. Sweet fragrance. Deep lemon-yellow standards with a lighter edge. Falls are a rust to burgundy with a white rayed pattern extending out from around the beard. The falls are then banded with a wide lemon border and then etched by a thin red line. This Is Crazy is breathtakingly beautiful in clump.
