This iris is for the lovers of brown. Now if we could just make the standards a clean white, we could take it to the next level. At any rate, it is truly stunning as is. Standards are creamy white, with a heavy dose of deep lemon infused up through the center. Falls are a rich brown, with a lighter amber yellow edge. Brilliant golden yellow standards rise above falls with a golden yellow center and a reddish violet overlay wash below the beard. The overlay becomes a deep reddish violet band, with a lighter rosy pink narrow edge. Lots going on in this flower for sure. Patterned iris like this one are so fun, in that the longer you look at them the more complex you realize the color scheme is. There is also a slightly darker lavender rim on the falls. Undeniable was named for obvious reasons; there was never any doubt that it was going to be released. It has beautiful form on tall, well-branched and balanced stems, and is a very strong grower that blooms and blooms from early to late in the iris bloom season.
