International Orders

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We ship all over the world.  We have an order minimum of $250 plus the cost of shipping and documentation.  We have this minimum due to the extra time and work involved preparing orders for shipment internationally.  Below is a list of shipping costs to various countries.  If your country is not listed in the group, you can contact us and we will see if it is possible to ship to you.  

Order cutoff date: No foreign orders accepted after July 1, 2024. No orders are shipped without payment prior to shipping!! 

DOCUMENTATION

Phytosanitary certificate is required on all foreign orders. Import permit, if required, must be furnished by the customer.     We MUST have an English translated copy. Please check with your customs & agriculture officials to determine if an import permit is needed. If one is needed and you don’t have it, it can cause lengthy delays.   

LIABILITY  

Customs and inspection officials are becoming more erratic with their application of rules & regulations. Because of this Mid-America Garden cannot be responsible for and will not make reimbursement or replacement for parcels delayed, destroyed, or returned to us without legitimate cause. If it is our error that causes the problem, we will take full responsibility for it and will take necessary steps to make it right.

CANADA

The charge is  $35 for the phytosanitary certificate. The cost for shipping is $50 for the carton and then an additional $2 per rhizome. All orders are also charged a $14 packing fee. These charges will automatically be added to your order total in the shipping charge when you select your country  in the check out process of the shopping cart.  

 CHILE, JAPAN, KAZAKHSTAN, NORWAY, SOUTH AFRICA, SWITZERLAND,  UNITED KINGDOM, UKRAINE, ISRAEL, AND SOUTH KOREA

The charge is $35 for the phytosanitary certificate. The cost for shipping is $60 for the carton and then an additional $3.60 per rhizome. All orders are also charged a $14 packing fee. These charges will automatically be added to your order total in the shipping charge when you select your country in the check out process of the shopping cart.    

AUSTRALIA

Although we do ship to Australia it is best to contact us for details.  You will require an import permit and there is a lengthy and very costly quarantine expense involved.  

ALL EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES

Shipping costs are automatically charged at check out when you enter your country during the check out process.  All EU orders are shipped air freight at the same time under one shipment to save costs.  Contact us for further details. 

RUSSIA

Shipping cost are automatically charged at check out when you enter your country during the check out process.  All orders to Russia  are shipped Air freight at the same time under one shipment to save cost.  Brokerage fees will apply, please contact us for further  details. 

CHINA and other countries

We do ship to China and other countries but it is best to ask us for a quote on shipping as this will vary.
