This gorgeous pink iris was named It’s A Wrap because we always know that when it starts to bloom we are heading towards the end of the bloom season. Marked for introduction from its maiden bloom, we have been patiently building stock and are excited to finally offer it. This gorgeous pink self is slightly lighter below the beards, which are a wonderful shade of shrimp pink. This glorious color is displayed on perfectly formed flowers that are wide, ruffled, and lightly laced. Blue pink standards have lighter pink edges. Falls are the faintest lavender white, deepening slightly before becoming a flesh band. Medium lavender beards are large and bushy. Standards are flesh pink with slightly lighter edges. Falls are rich reddish violet with a wide lavender band. The flowers are full, round, and ruffled, and held on nicely branched and budded stems. PRETTY MUCH IT (Thomas Johnson ’26)

Plicatas are such an interesting and fun group because of the variability that you can get. In general terms, one would describe this as a purple plicata, but Pretty Much It is so much more than that! Standards are white with a green flush up the midrib. Falls are pristine white, with a narrow stitched violet edge, and then a deeper violet wire rim. Hafts are touched deep red violet, and there is a small violet dart below the beard. Even the beard is a strange blend of orange and white. Upon closer inspection and as the flower ages a bit, the standards open slightly to show the gorgeous contrasting deep gold style crests from inside. The flowers are large and extremely wide and ruffled. Stems are tall, well branched and balanced, and display the beauty of the pattern perfectly. Sdlg. TO163B: Say It Right X Castle On The Hill

Cream standards have a deep lemon center, and then lemon infusions throughout the edges. Falls are white with short violet lines and golden yellow hafts. Slate white standards have a blue flush in the center. Falls are a gorgeous slate lavender blue with a lighter wash area around the blueish white beard. There is also a slightly darker lavender rim on the falls. Undeniable was named for obvious reasons; there was never any doubt that it was going to be released. It has beautiful form on tall, well-branched and balanced stems, and is a very strong grower that blooms and blooms from early to late in the iris bloom season.
