Done Deal is one of those iris that has it all: great form, branching, bud count, and vigor. Standards are a pearl white with pink and light salmon blended centers. Falls are a rich lavender with a deep red violet signal around the beard, which becomes a deeper lavender wash throughout the mid-section. A striking garden standout, this broken color iris showcases an artful blend of light to mid violet and creamy white, brushed and splashed together so no two blooms are alike. Heavily ruffled standards rise above broad, arched falls capped with white to marigold beards. Strong upright stems have 3 well-spaced branches plus spur and 8-9 buds. Very light lemon-yellow standards are contrasted by the large deep lemon style crests that peek out from within. Falls are white with a nice rosy violet band. Eggshell white standards have a slight violet blue wisp in the center. Falls are deep bluish violet, with a large white central flash around the enormous orange beards! Standards are flesh pink with slightly lighter edges. Falls are rich reddish violet with a wide lavender band. The flowers are full, round, and ruffled, and held on nicely branched and budded stems. Brilliant golden yellow standards rise above falls with a golden yellow center and a reddish violet overlay wash below the beard. The overlay becomes a deep reddish violet band, with a lighter rosy pink narrow edge. Lots going on in this flower for sure. Patterned iris like this one are so fun, in that the longer you look at them the more complex you realize the color scheme is. Medium pink standards rise above very light creamy white falls with a slight pink flush and deeper pink hafts. A wide and pronounced violet blue band frames the fall and brings the whole iris to life. Really good, tall, multi-budded show stems make one stop in their tracks.
