She has it all, grace, charm, looks, and poise - she's a SUPER MODEL. This SUPER MODEL excels where other heavily laced violet types have failed. When she finishes blooming there is still plenty of increase left. Many visitors to the AIS convention this past year remarked on that trait. Perfectly formed medium lilac flowers are edged in heavy crinkled lace. With all this lace, SUPER MODEL still opens easily. Strong show stalks normally open two well placed flowers at once. Be the first one on your block with your own SUPER MODEL. Hopefully this will be the key to unlock the overbloom problem in this color range.

Slight sweet fragrance Another project breeders have pursued for many years is putting a pink beard on a blue or purple iris. It seems loads of baby steps still haven’t gotten us there. These icy blue-white blooms coral pink beards. I probably don’t have enough years left to make it to the goal on this one. I’ll have to be content with it in my dreams. Sdlg. Pronounced sweet fragrance This beauty is another project that has taken more than a few generations to get achieve, and it still isn’t finished. The goal is a clear pink amoena and blue/pink bicolor. Both are possible given enough generations. Cool white standards have light green veins up midribs. Light peach falls blend to buttery yellow. Deep purple standards complement purple black falls highlighted by a lighter veined edge and area around the beard. Up to 10 buds on well branched stems.

Peach pink standards rise above white ground falls blushed light yellow in the center, transitioning to red-violet dotting. Finally we finish with a wide dark red-violet band! Quite a striking bicolor plicata, with good garden presence and up to 11 buds!

Named for our dearly departed friend Emma Cook, since the pattern of this iris was named after her. Standards are snow white; styles are tinted ice blue white, with yellow at the base of the standards. The snow white falls are banded medium purple, with a lighter watermark between the purple and the white. Beards are bright full yellow. Seven buds on strong stems.
