Medium lavender pink standards. Falls are darker with a lighter edge. Beards are a frosted lavender. Nice show stems, and a good grower. The flowers are well formed with nice width and are lightly laced. A very lovely pastel. Classy!

Light fragrance Lavender blue standards have a light reddish violet wash in the center. Falls are a very rich and deep old rose with glowing red beards. Foreign Concept is a very striking color combination. A favorite seedling since its maiden bloom. Sdlg. Slight fragrance. Light lilac pink standards, flushed deeper pink in center, sit atop medium lavender falls with deeper violet texture veins and a lighter band. Large beards are a frosted deep violet, creating quite a dramatic effect. Well formed, ruffled, and lightly laced flowers are held on well branched and budded stems. Sdlg. DREAM WITH ME (Thomas Johnson ’26)

Standards are a medium lavender with pink centers. Falls are a medium lavender washed deeper, with a lavender to near white band. Beards are a showy deep lavender. I am not even going to try to describe the colors of Laughing Matter. The pattern is so complex that I couldn’t possibly begin to do it justice in a written description; the photo kind of says it all. An absolutely stunning combination of colors, and one that most certainly will not be mistaken for anything else. Certainly not a pattern for the faint of heart. We love it and hope you will too.
