Reaching for the sky on strong stalks with incredible branches that have spurs on the lower branches. Standards and styles are pink. Falls are medium purple. Extending from the tangerine beards are large flounces that are orchid pink on top and medium purple on the reverse side. 4 branches with 11 to 12 buds.

Pronounced sweet fragrance Greenish irises are a fine dance of blue/purple and yellow pigments. Sometimes we’re lucky enough to get things that look yellowish olive that we can imagine are green. Sweet fragrance. Bluish pink standards and edge on icy blue white falls. Big, bushy, frosted light blue beards add to the attraction. Nice wide form on heavily ruffled and ever so slightly laced flowers. The coloring is somewhat similar to last year’s introduction, Eyes Of An Angel. Someone To Love is more of a blue pink in color and the beards are larger. They are definitely different in the garden and have different parental heritage. Both are a great advancement in the blue bearded pink breeding lines.

Oh my, there is ‘So Much More’ lace but look between the styles and there are what appear to be little floating islands of partial styles. It is very unique and rarely occurs. It is a stable and consistent trait. Mid pink standards are banded butter cream. Mid peach styles have lacy butter cream crests. White falls have peach hafts and butter cream laced edges. Stalks have 3 branches with 6-7 buds.

Sweet fragrance. A very early and long blooming variety, definitely in the top ten to start the season. Marked as an introduction from its maiden bloom it has performed consistently every year. A bit hard to capture but the color is so bright in the sun it appears on fire. Beautiful full ruffled form and show stems with ample buds. Brilliant gold standards sit atop rich burgundy red falls with orange beards. A definite garden favorite.

Musky fragrance. The quest for a TB with blue standards and pink falls has been a long and frustrating road for many hybridizers. Along the way there are beautiful seedlings worthy of introduction, and this is one of those. Larger flowers are carried on sturdy stalks. Notice the peach pink styles peering from between violet-blue standards. Standards are a blended light blue-violet and pink. Our fascination continues with the lined pattern. Standards are white. Falls are a white ground with lavender wash and deep lavender veins that extend from the base of the standards to the wide white border. Brilliant tangerine beards and gold touched hafts complete the look. Strong growth with nice stems and buds on vigorous, floriferous plants.

Another iris with a very complex color pattern. White standards are heavily infused yellow in the center. Falls have deep lemon hafts then a white area below the beard which transitions into a lavender wash and finally a wide blended rust and purple blended band with a darker wire rim. It is a pretty wild color pattern and is very distinctive in the garden. Tall well branched stalks assure that it won’t be overlooked.
