Greetings Iris Lovers,

We are very excited about our new web site. We want to use it as a tool to allow you to order more easily as well as to share with you some of the excitement we get from seeing new and different seedlings blooming each spring. Hybridizing and blooming new seedlings is the “fun” part of the business -- as well as a substantial amount of work. Many of you are not able to be here during bloom season and this is our way of sharing our latest innovations with you. If it inspires some of you to do some pollen daubing of your own or puts a smile on your face, then we have achieved success. There is nothing quite like the thrill of touring your garden, cup of coffee in hand, to see that new seedling that no person has seen before -- whether good, bad, or indifferent. We hope it will also help you bridge those “cabin fever” days of winter until spring returns and you can be outside with the real thing once again.

Please feel free to e-mail us with your comments about any of these seedlings. There are still only two of us that do the bulk of the work here; therefore, we ask that if you have questions about any of them that you wait until the winter months to ask those questions. We love talking about our work but once iris season begins in April until it ends the last of October, we are obliged to “pay the piper” by working. Having fun must wait until the crop is harvested.
