CAT CALL TB , 36" (91 cm) , Midseason-Late Listen to the Cat Calls as this flashy dresser parades down the street. Subtle it’s not. Ruffled and lightly laced standards and styles are medium yellow with a slight smoky haze. Plum-brown hafts on lavender-violet falls narrow at ends of old gold beards, then spread out again in a mascara cascade of dark plum, becoming red-purple streaks toward outer margins. MAGIC MASQUERADE TB , 44" (112 cm) , Later-Very Late There are many tantalizing mysteries waiting to be unveiled as you gaze upon Magic Masquerade. Ruffled and laced standards are pale slate-violet with 1/3” tan bands. Styles are the same with lacy tan crests. Heavily ruffled falls are rich, velvety, dark wine with white spray patterning surrounding muted gold beards. Heavily laced edges often have little white hooks along the edges of the lace. They are a very interesting adornment. Fall reverses are every bit as pretty as the tops. Green sunbursts turn to golden-yellow, to white and then to wine. Tall, well-branched stalks have 8-9 buds.
