White beards are brushed bright orange and end in short white darts. It is an amazing parent. One seedling is purple with black veins. It has been named Purple Tiger. |

Gold styles add a bit of dimension. Salmon cream falls blend darker toward edges, and hafts are brushed and speckled with medium cinnamon plicata marks. Bright orange beards set the clumps afire. Use it with darker marked plicatas for dramatic colors and patterns. |

| | Black 07; STROKE OF BRILLIANCE is right at the top of the list of five star irises. What an amazingly bright clump it makes. Standards are orange juice orange and styles slightly darker orange. Falls are tan with very wide amber-gold plicata bands that become almost solid over the hafts leaving a very small patch of tan ground color that is speckled taupe. The real STROKE OF BRILLIANCE is the fully saturated, big, thick, chenille beards that are screaming red-orange. For those breeding space-agers, there are ridges at the ends of the beards. Here's another SDB you won't confuse with any other. It is an awesome parent giving a wide range of colors and patterns. |

Such a bright and cheerful little bird for your garden. |

Well formed flowers are full, bright yellow with an orangeish haze over the center of the falls. Gigantic beards are completely saturated, screaming red-orange. This beard would be at home on most tall bearded irises. |

Do an internet search and see where it leads. ZOOBOOMAFOO standards are clear medium yellow with interesting burgundy veins low inside. Round and ruffled paler yellow falls are veined and washed dark burgundy to within about 1/4 inch of the edge leaving yellow bands. Now add an exotic touch of bright orange beards. |
