These colorful creations have been slowly evolving and are now ready to explode into mainstream breeding. Standards are pink heavily tinted lilac. Styles are clear pink. Falls are light pink to cream around bright orange beards. Elongated hafts are mauve overlaid with brown veins. The lower two-thirds have wide lilac plicata bands with their centers covered with lilac lines and dots and narrowly banded mauve-pink. Clumps of BAMBOOZLE are unmistakeable and smaller flowers are so cute. Fantastic breeding potential. |

It is an unbelievably exciting avenue to explore. Super ruffled standards are bubblegum purple with a small area of white plicata marking over lower quarter and decorated with variable, glittering gilt gold edges. Palest pink white falls have wide bubblegum purple plicata bands with brown plum hafts and short veins on each side of orange to violet white beards. Exciting parent. Give it a try. |

 | | | Black 07; I have worked many generations since the debut of Tu Tu Turquoise to obtain that same turquoise color but with better shaped flowers and more vigorous growth. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE is very close to that goal. The road to that goal presented many challenges including seedlings with only one or two buds. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE has three. Tightly formed flowers are sky blue tinted turquoise. Falls have large turquoise spots that lighten toward edges. Beards are sky blue. |
