TALL BEARDED
Bonus information at bottom of page
 | | | Chadwick 02; Ruffled pink with dark violet splashes of broken color. Orange beards. Unlike many color breakers, this one is a strong grower. Very nice. |
 | | | Black 07; I've always loved the various shadings of yellows and oranges in irises, maybe because they seem so delectable. OH SO YUMMY is one of those delicious irises. Standards have rich medium peach-pink centers blending to apricot margins. Falls are slightly lighter apricot with darker hafts covered with fine white etchings. Ruffles and light lace make OH SO YUMMY a visual delight. Strong show stalks. |

 | | OKLAHOMA CENTENNIAL | $12.00 |
| | Black 07; I am excited that my home state is celebrating 100 years since achieving statehood in 1907. I feel honored that the Oklahoma Centennial Commission asked if I would name an iris OKLAHOMA CENTENNIAL as part of that celebration. I am proud to do so and equally proud of OKLAHOMA CENTENNIAL as it embodies quality in every aspect. Growth is rugged and increase abundant. Show stalks have 10-12 buds and large flowers have classic form with tight ruffling and lace. Standards are medium to dark lilac-purple with a fine network of blue texture veining. Falls are medium violet-blue blending to lilac-purple and etched with darker texture veins. Tangerine beards end in light violet. |
 | | | Schreiner 06; Stark white with wide violet-blue plicata bands around standards and falls. Nicely ruffled. |
| | | S.Markham 07; Soft yellow standards and paler tan edge on plum purple falls. Gold beards. |
 | | | Schreiner 08; Bold, heavily saturated orange with vivid tangerine beards. Excellent color. |
 | | | Keppel 04; Black-purple standards and plicata band on snow white falls. Stark color contrast. |
 | | | T.Johnson 07; Ruffled and lightly laced standards are pastel buttery tan with centers infused soft tan-pink. Falls are smooth pale buttery peach blending to white in their centers that are overlaid with greenish texture veins. Luscious melon-coral beards make this an ORIGINAL CAST indeed. Superb plant habits and stalks. |
 | | | Black 07; This introduction is from work started several generations ago using Pretty Pansy, an old Sass luminata, to create a line of strong pink ground plicatas. While OUT OF THE DARK isn't pink, it does have apricot-buff ground and is one step closer to my goal in that it is a strong grower with plenty of tangerine genes in its heritage. The apricot-buff ground color is almost completely washed purple in the standards. The falls have wide sanded and dotted plicata bands and center stripes of dark beetroot. Beards are smoldering burnt orange and are surrounded by white lumi-plic patches sanded dark wine. OUT OF THE DARK is quite tall for this type plicata and blooms later, thus avoiding damage from late frosts. |

| | OXFORD COUNTESS (f) | $SOLD OUT |
