Styles are the same with lacy tan crests. Heavily ruffled falls are rich, velvety, dark wine with white spray patterning surrounding muted gold beards. Heavily laced edges often have little white hooks along the edges of the lace. They are a very interesting adornment. Fall reverses are every bit as pretty as the tops. Green sunbursts turn to golden-yellow, to white and then to wine. Tall, well-branched stalks have 8-9 buds. Growth is strong and vigorous. Bred to plicatas, it is giving some exotic colors and patterns. Lateness of bloom helps ensure it will make it past those late frosts. |

| | Black 07; MONEY IN YOUR POCKET is a top-notch garden iris that visually makes a very satisfying clump. Many visitors attending the 2006 Portland AIS convention added it to their must have list. Flowers are medium cornflower blue with white areas around beards sanded with blue rays. Falls are darker in centers blending to blue-white margins thus giving great depth and dimension to them. Superb show stalks grow from strong healthy plants. |
