T.Johnson '09; I hope you dance (T.Johnson 09) Midseason-Late 36” (91cm) Big, buxom flowers have porcelain finished palest flesh pink standards tinted lavender up midribs. Overlapping falls are pearl blending imperceptibly to pastel violet and edged light tan. A mysterious pearlescent haze lends a haunting quality and deeply incised gold texture veins add depth. White beards touched light tangerine add a soft contrast. Strong stalks have 2-3 branches and 8-9 buds. Strong growth produces robust clumps.

Black 07; Don't you just love a parade with all the wild and zany costumes? I LOVE A PARADE has no trouble being noticed by the onlookers. Standards are icy blue-white with midribs tinted violet. Falls are a boisterous medley of color. Elongated hafts are brownish tan blending to khaki closer to bright orange beards. Sanded warm white veins also run beside the beards. The hafts blend to medium lavender progressing down the falls and terminating with medium plum bands around margins. Orange beards bleed down onto the fall leaving a tangerine-peach center stripe. Both standards and falls are ruffled and lightly laced. Vigorous plants produce show branched stalks.

T.Johnson 08; Ice Capades is fresh and crisp as a ballerina carved from ice. Dancing, swirling standards of pale azure blue are heavily ruffled and laced. Icy blue-white falls blend to pale azure blue margins and are also heavily ruffled and laced. Ice Capades is notable for both its flawless form and clarity of color. Pale lemon beards complement its pastel nature. Show stalks have 7-9 buds.

T.Johnson 07; I'M BACK sets a new standard for form and color in reblooming irises. Not only will you love seeing it the first time, you'll long for it to return, and it will. Standards are medium lilac with rich dusty rose centers and along upper margins which are covered with a fine network of burgundy veins. Styles are dusty rose with crests veined dark burgundy. Falls are velvety black-cherry with paler rims and adorned with dark root beer beards. Each flower is well-formed and elegantly ruffled.
