Each year American Iris Society judges give their time to evaluate and cast their votes for irises they consider to be superior garden subjects. There are also overseas competitions that Thomas and I participate in. Judges were very good to us this year. Following is a list of those awards and at the end is a summary of those awards from the American Iris Society.

'PAUL BLACK' moved from #40 to #30 on the American Iris Society Symposium of Top 100 favorite irises.

Firenze International Iris Competition

Held in Florence Italy, the Firenze International Iris Competition is a 3 year garden trial of TB & BB irises using codes instead of names to help insure fairness in judging.
